The Trust’s connection to Fairford dates back over 80 years. Ernest Cook bought the estate in 1945, and it was transferred to the Trust between 1952 – 1957. The site of the original house was sold and is now Farmor’s School, and of the original buildings only the stable court survives.

We are now planning to lease the stable court buildings for residential and commercial purposes – creating let housing and opportunities for small local businesses. If you would like to rent some space for your growing business, please get in touch.
