Short and honest answer, we don’t know, as we are constantly reviewing opportunities and none of our land is inalienable. Our main objective is to support the vision for an environmentally engaged society with stronger connections to nature. Sometimes this means preserving, supporting or safe-guarding areas of land. Sometimes this means supporting rural infrastructure with things like rural housing, renewable energy, HS2, new road links etc. Each area of land or estate is unique, and we evaluate opportunities on their own merits, giving careful consideration to the specific circumstances as there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution, or answer.
