Everything Outdoors Grants
From Spring 2020, we temporarily suspended new applications for Everything Outdoors Grants due to the pandemic. These included the Outdoor Essentials, Apprenticeship & Scholarships and Outdoor Learning Officer Grants. We’re delighted to report that application rounds for these grants have since been resumed. Please check our social media channels and website where grant rounds are announced.

How we responded to covid-19
The effects of COVID-19 have been deep and far-reaching for everyone. The Trust and in particular our grant giving and learning activities are no exception.
Assessing the challenges faced by underserved children and young people during the pandemic caused us to find new ways to help meet their immediate and long-term needs. Most significantly, this was done through our Remote Learning Grant, where funds were re-directed to help address gaps in remote learning access.

The OWL Collaboration
This funding-plus programme was devised as an immediate response to the trauma experienced by young people during COVID, bringing together schools, funders and Outdoor Learning Centres. The OWL Collaboration went live In Autumn 2020 and is one of the Trust’s strategic programmes going forward.
