Mia
Youth Advisory Board member (click to read bio)
Mia (she/they) is a youth worker and communicator passionate about making environmental action inclusive, fun, and community-led (with a dash of beaver-led rewilding where possible). Based in Shropshire, she currently works as a Communications Officer for Shropshire Wildlife Trust, where she helps connect people of all ages with nature through storytelling, social media, and digital strategy.
With a background in geography from the University of Oxford, a range of previous youth advisory positions, and working in freelance climate education engagement, Mia has experience across ecosystem restoration, youth work, and nature connection.
Mia joined the Ernest Cook Trust’s Youth Advisory Board to help ensure young voices are at the heart of environmental care, landscape research and learning, to challenge the status quo and to champion opportunities for all young people to connect with nature in meaningful, accessible and creative ways!
