Outdoor Learning Leader Grant

The Outdoor Learning Leader Grant supports charities and non-profit organisations who want to employ an Outdoor Learning Leader. We know that inspirational role models are key to helping young people form lasting connections with nature. This is why we prioritise charities and organisations whose approach is to encourage young people to enjoy the outdoors through a range of outdoor learning experiences.

Successful applicants will receive up to £20,000 per Outdoor Learning Leader, per year, for up to three years. This grant is available to organisations located within the following postcode prefixes only:

Cumbria/Lancashire hub area:
BB, CA, FY, LA, PR
Gloucestershire hub area: BS, GL, SN
Leicestershire hub area: LE

The Outdoor Essentials Grant is an award to UK state-funded schools to remove barriers and enable pupils to connect to nature and learn outdoors.

This current round of the Outdoor Essentials Grant is a place-based offer focusing on specific geographical areas defined by postcodes, therefore it is only available to schools located within the following prefixes:

Cumbria/Lancashire: BB, CA, FY, LA, PR
Glos/Wilts/Avon: GL, SN, BS, BA20, BA21, BA22
Leicestershire: LE

Communities Grant

The Outdoor Essentials Grant is an award to UK state-funded schools to remove barriers and enable pupils to connect to nature and learn outdoors. Grants are available for the following options: Nature & Nurture, Transport & Travel, Wellies & Waterproofs, and Teacher Training.
